RexStudy 2.x and 3.x saw increases in the number of users and complexity of datasets being generated. In response to this, our Engineers have leveraged the React platform to completely redesign the RexStudy framework. React is an open-source JavaScript library designed to make user interface experiences both seamless and speedy. A growing number of prominent technology companies, including Facebook and Instagram, also use React on account of its optimal scalability performance.

We are also busy improving our documentation to make RexStudy even easier to use following each release. For example, in-line help text is accessible throughout the application via a question mark (?), and will display help text in a pane on the right side of the page (as shown below).

For more detailed assistance, our RexStudy Handbook is still available under the Home menu, Help option. The handbook has been expanded to include screenshots of the current application, an expanded section on creating electronic data capture instruments, and a glossary of terminology you may encounter in RexStudy. Over the next few months we will be transitioning our clients with Upgrades Subscriptions to this newest release. Let us know what you think of the improved documentation and scalability design!
